Retirement flats, in particular those built by housebuilders such as McCarthy & Stone, are perceived by many to be prohibitively expensive. As we have a number of properties on the market currently with prices of £100,000 or less, we thought we would take the time to highlight those properties and where they are.
Many of these retirement developments were built some time ago, but despite not being shiny and new, they do offer benefits that others don’t. You’ll find they have a strong community spirit, extensive social programmes run by social committees, experienced staff and beautiful mature gardens.
